At the 2024 Ocean Decade Conference in Barcelona this April, ERINN Innovation, the lead partner for Dissemination, Exploitation, and Communications in the TechOceanS project, sponsored a booth that spotlighted the collaborative efforts of several key initiatives. The booth featured the All-Atlantic Sister Projects TechOceanS and MISSION ATLANTIC, as well as the linked projects MARCO-BOLO and AAGORA, in collaboration with the NAUTILOS project.
This booth served as a hub for engaging with key stakeholders, including policymakers, and provided visibility to the research outcomes of these projects. It was an excellent platform for understanding the needs of potential users of TechOceanS results, while also highlighting the tools, technologies, and findings developed through these initiatives that could significantly contribute to the 10 Ocean Decade Challenges.
By creating a dedicated space for presentations, discussions, and networking, the booth effectively demonstrated how the All-Atlantic Projects are advancing innovative research to support the Sustainable Development of the Ocean, with a particular focus on the Atlantic region. This collaboration underscored the collective impact these projects have towards achieving the goals set out in the Ocean Decade Challenges.
